Brasten Group Celebrates Navratri Utsav

Navratri is celebrated not only in India but also in neighboring countries, everywhere where Indians are present, different communities celebrate Durga Puja by following all Vedic rituals by placing the idol of Maa Durga in their temples, pandals or huge banquet halls. Similarly in Thailand Brasten Group celebrates “Navratri Festival” every year, and this year Navratri festival was celebrated on 14 October 2021 at Brasten New Campus at 4:00 PM. In which people enthusiastically participated. Bhajans, kirtans were performed in the festival, after the festival, prasad was also given to the people.

Navratri is a festival of 10 days spanning nine nights. Durga Puja has become an integral part of Hindu culture showing devotion to Shakti. Durga Puja is an occasion to celebrate the glorious culture, heritage and traditions.

Hindu devotees often celebrate Navratri by keeping a fast. On the last day, called Vijayadashami, the idols are either immersed in a water body such as a river or sea, or the idol symbolizing evil is lit with fireworks, symbolizing the destruction of evil.
