CCSA Advises Public To Avoid Fake News About Curfew

As the Government of Thailand confirms the new COVID-19 wave in the country and has issued measures to contain the growing cases of the virus by temporarily closing tourist spots and controlling the closing time of establishments, The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) reminded the public that they have not yet announced any curfew from 11 PM to 4 AM and prohibitions against leaving home.

CCSA is asking the public to refrain from sharing fake news and particularly follow official sources.

The CCSA has also advised the public to avoid risky behaviours that can lead to the spread of COVID-19:

  • Not wearing a mask
  • Having close contact or not social distancing
  • Doing activities together, such as having meals together
  • Travelling from city to city or across provinces.
  • In addition, the CCSA has called on the public to carefully follow measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
