On January 26, 2025, Indians and friends of India worldwide came together to celebrate the 76th Republic Day of India with great pride, patriotism, and cultural fervor. This momentous occasion was marked by vibrant celebrations across Indian embassies and consulates globally, uniting the Indian diaspora and fostering friendships between nations.

Celebrations in Thailand

In Bangkok, the Embassy of India hosted an inspiring event attended by over 500 members of the Indian diaspora and friends of India. Ambassador Nagesh Singh unfurled the tricolor and read the President’s address to the nation. Cultural performances by ICCR scholars and students from Modern International School Bangkok (MISB) enthralled the audience, while 50 winners of the Bharat Ko Jano Quiz from Thailand were felicitated. The event highlighted the enduring bond between India and Thailand.
