Centre Issues Guidelines For Near To Home COVID Vaccination Centres For Elderly, Differently Abled Citizens

Now corona vaccination can be done near the home of elderly and disabled citizens. The National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration had made a recommendation by the Technical Expert Committee of the Union Ministry to bring the corona vaccination center near the home of elderly and differently abled citizens. Which has been called the Near to Home Covid Vaccine Center, which has been accepted by the Union Health Ministry and has issued guidelines in this regard.

These vaccinations will be possible in places like community center, RWA center, group housing society center, panchayat ghar, school building. All people above 60 years of age who have received the first dose or have not received any vaccine, as well as all disabled citizens below 60 years will be able to get this Near to Home Covid Vaccine Center Vaccination.

The Near to Home Covid Vaccine Center for Vaccination will be linked to the existing Covid Vaccine Center. These centers will be responsible for providing the necessary vaccines and resources for vaccination.

The team at Near to Home Covid Vaccine Center will consist of five members – Team Leader, Immunization Officer, Immunization Officer for cowin registration and / or beneficiary verification, and Immunization Officer-2 and 3 for crowd control, assistance to vaccinator, any Also to ensure 30 minutes observation of the beneficiaries after vaccination for Adverse effect and any other assistance.

The Union Health Ministry has advised all the States and Union Territories to instruct the concerned authorities on these recommendations and take immediate necessary action for their detailed planning and effective implementation under the ongoing National Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign.
