Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat’s controversial statement regarding Kumbh and Corona

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat is once again in controversy. This time he has made absurd statements about Kumbh and Corona. Rawat has said that the corona will not spread by the grace of Mother Ganga in Kumbh. It is also said that it is wrong to compare Kumbh and Markaj. According to Rawat, last year, the corona from Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi spread from a closed room as there were people in one room, while the Kumbh area in Haridwar is in an open environment up to Neelkanth and Devprayag.

Let us know that the third royal bath is going on in Kumbh on Wednesday. Earlier, the Corona Guidelines were not followed during the royal bath on Monday. More than 3.5 million people attended Monday’s royal bath. Of these, 18,169 people were screened, out of which 102 were found infected.

The administration claims that entry is being given to the same devotees who have RT-PCR negative report in Kumbh region. But the ground reality is different. The central government has already said that Kumbh could become a super spreader of Corona. The state should be careful.
