COVID care centre at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib to open with 300 beds

Amidst the growing outbreak of Corona, a commendable step has been taken by the Rakabganj Gurudwara in Delhi. A covid care center of 400 oxygen beds has been set up in the gurudwara. It has started from today. This covid Care Center has been arranged on behalf of the Delhi Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has donated 2 crore rupees for this treatment center

Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa, President of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, said that ‘this is the first semi-hospital in the country to be built in only 10 days after the government and the army. Here treatment, ambulance, medicine etc. are all facilities except ICU only. There is also a provision for the patient who needs 5 liters of oxygen and for the patient who needs 20 liters of oxygen, arrangements have also been made.

All the facilities here are completely free. The only condition is that he is a patient and his oxygen level should not be below 85.

On the occasion of the commencement of the treatment center, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain also visited here and said that this treatment center has been attached with the Public Nayak Jayaprakash Hospital of Delhi Government. If the health of a patient deteriorates here, he will be immediately shifted to Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Hospital.
