Crime Branch Raids Shilpa Shetty and Raj’s House

The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police is interrogating his wife and Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty at their Juhu residence for making obscene films on behalf of businessman Raj Kundra. The crime branch has reached Raj Kundra at his house in the afternoon. Along with this, Mumbai Police can also investigate the bank accounts of film actress Shilpa Shetty in Raj Kundra case. Police Police is trying to know whether the money transactions have happened from the bank accounts of Shilpa Shetty or not? During investigation, the police came to know that there were 20 lakh registered subscribers in the hotshot.

International connection is now coming to the fore regarding Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, arrested in pornography case. Mumbai Police has claimed that in a WhatsApp chat they have come to know that Rajkundra was talking about selling 121 videos for 1.2 million US dollars. Mumbai Police said that it appears to be a matter of international standard.

Here, Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra, who is trapped in the pornography case, has challenged his arrest by filing a petition in the Bombay High Court. He said that his arrest was illegal. Meanwhile, a Mumbai court on Friday extended till July 27 the police custody of businessman Raj Kundra in a case related to the alleged production of obscene films and airing them through certain apps.

Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested by the crime branch of the city police on the night of July 19. Earlier, a case was registered against him under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.

He was produced before a magistrate’s court on Friday at the end of his earlier custody. The police requested for extension of his custody for the purpose of further investigation in the case. The police had earlier told the court that the 45-year-old businessman was making financial gains from the illegal activity of manufacturing and selling pornographic material.

The police claimed that they have confiscated Kundra’s mobile phone and it is necessary to examine the contents in it as well as his business dealings and transactions. Apart from Kundra, the police also produced another accused Ryan Thorpe in the court. The court also extended his custody till July 27.
