Cyclone ‘Toukate’ has moved from Mumbai to Gujarat. According to the Meteorological Department, the storm has passed parallel to Mumbai. There is still heavy rain here. Corona vaccination has been stopped in Mumbai and corona patients have been shifted to another place. The airport will also be closed from 11 am to 2 pm. Worli Sea Link of Mumbai has also been closed. During the height, the sea has seen waves of 10 to 13 feet high.
Apart from Mumbai, there will be no vaccination in Raigad, Sindhudurg, Palghar and Thane. Corona patients have been shifted here too. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in Mumbai, Raigad, Sindhudurg, Palghar and Thane. Three teams of NDRF have been deployed in Mumbai and 5 teams are on alert. Temporary Shelter Homes have been built at 5 places. Mumbai’s western suburbs including Dadar, Worli, Lower Parel, Matunga and Mahim are receiving heavy rains.
