Disha Ravi’s bail plea was heard in Delhi’s Patiala House Court in the toolkit case. After hearing the arguments of both the sides, the court did not grant bail to Disha Ravi at present and deferred the verdict till February 23 to pronounce the verdict. Both sides presented their arguments in the court and the court also asked sharp questions to the Delhi Police.
The Delhi Police opposed 22-year-old Disha’s plea that the toolkit was, in fact, the gateway to another website aimed at defaming India and its army. Police claimed that Disha Ravi, the only person arrested in the case, is closely associated with Khalistan-support organization Poetic Justice Foundation (PJF). After hearing both sides, the court reserved its order for Tuesday.
