The price of the anti-corona drug 2-DG prepared by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has been fixed. A pouch of this medicine has been priced at Rs 990.
These medicines will be made available to government hospitals, central and state governments at low prices. The government is trying to prepare as many doses of this medicine as possible so that corona patients will be able to control oxygen levels.
The drug, developed by DRDO, was approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) on May 8 for emergency use for corona patients.
