Earthquake tremors felt in Assam, Bengal, Bihar

The tremors were felt in Assam’s Guwahati on Wednesday morning. At the same time, earthquake tremors have also been reported in Tezpur and Sonitpur. The earthquake measured 6.4 magnitudes on the Richter scale. During this time, people came out of the houses in panic and there was chaos.

It is being told that due to the strong tremors of the earthquake, walls collapsed in many areas. At the same time, the trees also collapsed in many places. It is also being reported that there has been a lot of damage due to the earthquake. Apart from this, earthquake tremors have also been reported in some areas of North Bengal and Bihar.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has said that he is appealing to everyone to be vigilant while praying for the well being of the people. The earthquake is being updated from all the districts. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have spoken to the Chief Minister of Assam and assured all possible help from the Central Government.
