Facebook will soon launch a new campaign to ‘educate and make people aware’ of how to detect false and misleading information related to Covid-19. Through this campaign, people will be encouraged to check the information they receive from a reliable source.
Facebook has removed more than 12 million posts related to Covid-19 worldwide during the Corona pandemic, in which it was reported to be ‘harmful’ about the disease.
According to Facebook, six methods have been prepared to check misleading information and these easy methods will be given on Facebook. Through this, people will be able to know not only the headline but also the source of the entire story. The campaign will be conducted in English including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Malayalam, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati and Bangla.
