Father Shishir Adhikari joins BJP after Shubhendu

Before the assembly elections in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress suffered another setback. Shishir Adhikari, MP from the Kathi Lok Sabha seat, joined the BJP on Thursday during Home Minister Amit Shah’s rally in Agra. During this time he shouted slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai and Jai Siya Ram. Shubhendu left the TMC in November last year and joined the BJP. They are contesting against Mamata Banerjee from Nandigram. After Shubhendu joined the BJP, his father Shishir Adhikari was also believed to be leaving TMC. By joining BJP on Sunday, Shishir said, ‘Bengal has to be saved from tyranny. We are with you Our family is with you.
