Fire in chemical factory in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, 4 people died in accident A fire broke out in a chemical factory in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra

In this accident, 4 people are reported dead and one person is severely scorched. The incident took place at the factory located in the Khed taluka area. Around 50 people were trapped in the factory at the time of the accident. All these have been saved. According to information received from the Ratnagiri Fire Brigade, a fire broke out in the factory after the boiler exploded and people working nearby were engulfed in it. The severely scorched employee is being treated at the district hospital in Ratnagiri. People present around the factory said that the explosion of the boiler was so fast that it was heard for about 5 kilometers. After the accident, there was a smog of smoke all around. The effort to overcome the fire is still going on. For this, 8 vehicles of fire brigade are engaged.
