Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said on racism, will raise the issue in front of Uk

In the second phase of the budget session in Parliament on Monday, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar responded to the issue of racism at Oxford University. He said that we are watching these events closely. We cannot turn our eyes away from racism because of Mahatma Gandhi being from the earth. Especially in the country where Indian diaspora lives in large numbers. Our relationship with the UK is strong, but if needed we will take up such matters with them. The External Affairs Minister answered the questions of BJP MP Ashwini Vaishnav. Vaishnav said that wrong with Rashmi Samanta at Oxford University. He referred to Megan Merkel’s interview as she spoke. In fact, Rashmi Samant, the first Indian-origin president of the Oxford University Student Union, had to resign from the post. An old social media post went viral after Rashmi became president. Rashmi was described as racist and insensitive on the basis of that post and she stepped down after the pressure increased.
