Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement. He told that the Delhi government has decided that free vaccine will be given to people above 18 years of age.
The Chief Minister of Delhi said that we have approved to buy one crore 34 lakh vaccine in Delhi. Kejriwal said that we will try to ensure that it is bought as soon as possible and administered to the people as soon as possible.
Kejriwal said that I appeal to the vaccine manufacturers to reduce the price to 150 rupees. You have a whole life to earn profits. This is not the time to do this when there is a raging epidemic. I also appeal to the central government to fix the price (of vaccines) if needed.
