Germany’s Foreign Ministry has said that the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland are the most affected by Covid-19. The Omicron variant of Covid has also been found to be very contagious. Over 65,000 new Covid cases have been confirmed in London in the last seven days, with 26,418 cases in the last 24 hours. Which is the highest number since the start of the pandemic. Therefore, many areas, including the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands, have been classified as high-risk areas for 14 days.
