Haryana government has declared Black Fungus as Notified Disease. Health Minister Anil Vij gave this information. Many cases of black fungus have been reported in the state. Now on getting new cases, the doctor will report to the CMO of the district. Senior doctors of PGI Rohtak will hold a video conference about this and will discuss the treatment of black fungus.
Increasing black fungus patients in the state has increased the concern of the health department. About 20 such cases occurred in PGI. Some of these people have lost their eyes and some have lost their ears. At the same time, two people have lost their lives.
Haryana Congress President Kumari Selja had demanded that the government set up a state-level committee of doctors to monitor the situation in the districts of the entire state. Such patients should be identified and provided treatment at the earliest.
