Thailand has always been the main destination for tourists to visit. Every year thousands of tourists reach Thailand. And now slowly Thailand is being opened for tourists. After Phuket, now Hua Hin will also be reopened to the morning on 1 October. Officials are expected to welcome commercial flights and private jets at the airport. Yuthasak Supasorn of Thailand’s Tourism Authority says the Hua Hin recharge program spans 86.3 square kilometers between the Hua Hin municipality and the district of Nong.
Those who come will be subjected to a COVID-19 test and after getting a negative test result, they will be free to travel in the region. Travelers who have spent 7 days in Phuket under the sandbox scheme can also visit Hua Hin.
The runway at Hua Hin is only 2.1 km long, yet it can handle narrow-bodied aircraft such as the Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 as well as private jets and, if all is successful, flights between Phuket and Hua Hin. Can be operated soon.
Tourism Minister Fifat Ratchakitprakarn says Hua is working on getting more vaccine doses for Hin, so that the vaccination target can be met. He said that the surrounding areas or all the Prachup Kheri Khan should be included in the vaccine rollout so that in future the entire province can be opened for international tourists.
Only 24% of people in Filal Hua Hin have been fully vaccinated, while more than 73% have received their first dose. And in Prachup Kheri Khan, 11,000 people are in need of food now.
“Complete reopening of Prachup Khiri Khan and Phechburi provinces will be more beneficial to the local economy as it connects other provinces like Chumphon and Ranong along the coastline which is expected to attract more migrants.
