Indian-origin Neera Tandan who was elected to the cabinet by US President Joe Biden, has been appointed senior adviser to the White House. He was previously elected by Biden to head the Office of Management and Budget but withdrew his nomination in March amid protests.
In March, the White House withdrew the nomination proposal of President Joe Biden to the budget office to appoint Neera Tandan as director. The protests in both the parties in the name of Neera could not be ended. Neera also announced her withdrawal.
Then Biden said that I respect his experience, skills and ideas very much and want him to have a role in my administration. And finally Biden gave him the new responsibility, giving him such an important position.
