Microsoft’s Internet Explorer web browser is going to retire after 26 years. Bill Gates’s company has made its official announcement. Microsoft Edge will replace Explorer after it is shut down. Internet Explorer was Microsoft’s first most successful browser. Apart from this, it was the first free browser, which was taken up by people and it changed the world of Internet itself.
After launching, 95% of the world’s users used it for about 10 years. But currently its users are not even 10 percent left. Actually, when it launched, fewer people had internet. They also had problems working. After the arrival of this browser, the work became easy.
This was followed by the launch of Mozilla Firefox in 2002, which reduced the Explorer’s popularity. During this time, the users of Explorer were left at 50%. Then in 2008 Google Chrome was launched, which ended Explorer. Today, the largest number of users in the world are from Google Chrome.
