The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE Main 2021 examination to be held in late April. Two sessions of the examination have been conducted in February and March. The agency postponed the examination 10 days ago due to the demand of students and parents amid the second wave of Corona. The examinations were to be held from 27 to 30 April.
The new dates of exam are not fixed yet, but it will be announced 15 days before the exam. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank gave this information. He said that in view of the prevailing situation, he suggested the NTA to postpone the examination.
New records are being made every day in terms of data on corona infects in the country. On the previous day, the maximum number of 2 lakh 60 thousand 533 new infected people were identified in the country. Earlier on Friday, 2.33 lakh cases were reported.
