Lockdown extended for one week in Delhi

The lockdown has been extended by a week after rising cases of corona in Delhi. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced it on Saturday evening. Earlier there was a lockdown till 5 am on May 3, which has been increased to 5 am on May 10. During this period, the same rules will be applied as before.

The lockdown started in Delhi from 10 pm on 19 April, which was to run till 5 am on 26 April. Kejriwal extended a week-long lockdown on April 25 before the lockdown was over. He said that lockdown is the last weapon against infection.

More than 20 thousand corona cases are coming out here for the last 15 days. The last time on 16 April, 19 thousand 486 corona cases (less than 20 thousand) were revealed. Corona report of 27,047 people came positive on Friday. 375 patients have also died due to infection.
