Lockdown extended till 1 June in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra government has extended the lockdown till June 1 in view of the increasing corona infection. Also, people coming to the state will have to take a negative report of RT-PCR. The government has taken this decision as there is no reduction in cases of corona infection.

Simultaneously, vaccination of people between 18 years and 44 years has been stopped citing lack of vaccines in the state. Vaccines for these will now be applied to those above 45 years of age. The Health Minister said that after May 20, the Serum Institute has promised to give 1.5 crore vaccines. Vaccination will be resumed if that dose is found.
