LPG Cylinder Price Hiked By Rs. 25

The prices of non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders have been increased once again. Government oil companies have increased the price of LPG cylinders used at home by Rs 25. With this, the price of LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has now gone up to Rs 834. Earlier the price of LPG was Rs 809. Although the cylinder became cheaper by Rs 10 in April, after that there was no change in the price in May-June.

Apart from Delhi, LPG cylinder is being sold for Rs 861 in Kolkata from today. At the same time, the price of cylinder in Mumbai and Chennai is Rs 834 and Rs 850 respectively.

The price of LPG cylinder in Delhi on January 1 this year was Rs 694. On July 1, this price is Rs 834. That is, the price of domestic gas has increased by Rs 138 this year. On February 4, the price was increased to Rs 719 per cylinder. After this the price was increased to Rs 769 on February 15 and Rs 794 on February 25. On March 1, the price of cylinder was reduced to Rs 819. 10 rupees have been cut in April. After this, the price has now been reduced to Rs 834 in July.

At the same time, the price of 19 kg cylinder in Delhi has been increased by Rs 76.50 to Rs 1550. According to the Indian Oil website, on June 1, the price of this cylinder in Delhi was reduced by Rs 122. At present, the price of 19 kg cylinder in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai is Rs 1651.50, 1507, 1687.50 respectively.

The cost of electronic items used in the house is also going to increase. Many factories were closed in the country due to the lockdown. Due to this many things were not being produced. There is also copper in this. The production of copper was also stopped in the lockdown. With the increase in demand, the price of copper has already increased. This is the reason why the price of things like TV, Freeze, Cooler, AC is sure to increase. All these things have coils in which copper is used.

Experts believe that after the lockdown is lifted, the use of copper on a large scale will increase in many things. Due to this, its demand will increase continuously but the production of copper will be limited. When production is less and demand increases, then its direct effect will be on the price.
