Here the Chief Minister of the state, Mamta Banerjee and Shubhendu officer who came to the BJP leaving Trinamool will be face to face. Mamta had announced to contest from Nandigram herself on Friday, then the BJP announced the name of Shubhendu from Nandigram on Saturday.
BJP on Saturday announced the candidates for 56 of the 60 seats in the first and second phase in the state. Party General Secretary Arun Singh said that the Baghmundi seat has been left for Aasu. At the same time, the names of 3 seats have not been announced at the moment.
