The Government of Thailand is planning to vaccinate up to 70% percent Thai citizens within Bangkok City which is equivalent to approximately 50 million people within the span of two months as revealed by the Ministry of Public Health.
The vaccine rollout strategy mainly for the country’s capital came after Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha expressed his sentiments during a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, revealing that that the number of people who have applied for the vaccinations with the government was below target.
