Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh demanded a CBI inquiry into the allegations leveled against Anil Deshmukh

Parambir Singh, who was removed from the post of Mumbai Police Commissioner, has demanded a CBI probe into the bribery allegations leveled against Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. In this regard, he has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Parambir Singh recently wrote a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray. It said that Assistant Police Inspector (API) Sachin Vazh had the protection of Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and asked him to deposit Rs 100 crore every month. Parbir Singh said in the petition that he had also told the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray the target of collecting 100 crore rupees. But he was transferred a few days later. He has also challenged his transfer order. He says that Officer Rashmi Shukla’s report on transfer-posting should be investigated. Parambir claims that Home Minister Deshmukh was constantly meeting with Sachin Waze at his bungalow. During this meeting, a target of 100 crore collection was given. He has also demanded an inquiry into the CCTV footage of Deshmukh’s bungalow so that the truth can be revealed.
