NIA to investigate Mansukh’s death in Antilia case, ATS entrusted

The National Investigation Agency NIA will also investigate the case of the death of Mansukh Hiren, owner of Scorpio recovered from outside Antilia. The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has decided to hand over the investigation to the NIA under section 8. ATS Chief Jayjit Singh has confirmed this. ATS took over the investigation after Mansukh’s death. A case of murder was filed in it. During the investigation, ATS has recorded statements of 25 people so far. The Union Home Ministry has also issued an order in this regard. After which it is believed that the NIA will be handover soon on the case. According to the rule, if the agency is investigating a scheduled crime, then it can simultaneously investigate any other case committed by the offender.
