Rich in various species of fish, birds, and aquatic plants, during October to February of every year, the water lily plants in the lake will grow above the water surface, produce new leaves and buds, and bloom. The blooming season is from December to February.
Visitors can admire the beauty of the pink water lilies from 6 AM – 10 AM. A boat service is available at Wat Ban Diam, Mu 5, Tambon Chiang Wae. The boat rent is 300-500 THB for 10 persons.

ฤดูกาลท่องเที่ยว “ทะเลบัวแดง” มาถึงแล้ว!
แหล่งน้ำที่งดงามแห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่ที่ หนองหานกุมภวาปี อ. กุมภวาปี จ.อุดรธา
บัวจะออกดอกมีปริมาณมากที่สุดในช่วงเดือนธันวาคม – กุมภาพันธ์ และค่อย ๆ ลดปริมาณลงในเดือนมีนาคม หากใครจะมานั่งเรือแวะชม ดอกบัวจะบานในช่วงเช้าตรู่จนถึงเวลาประมาณ 10.00 น.
นักท่องเที่ยวจะมองเห็นดอกบัวแดงบานเต็มท้องน้ำหนองหานสุดลูกหูลูกตาเลยครับ คาดว่าจะบานสะพรั่งเต็มที่ในช่วงเดือนมกราคม ติดตามพยากรณ์บัวแดงได้ที่ Facebook: TatUdon ได้เลยน้า
