Stupa of Sanchi
You can learn a lot about history by visiting the Stupa of Sanchi. The Stupa of Sanchi is known for its stupas and Buddhist structures. The distance here is around 45 kms from Bhopal. It was built in the Maurya era, between the 3rd century BC and the 12th century AD.

Van Vihar National Park
You can visit Van Vihar National Park. This place was established in the year 1979 and is one of the most famous national parks in India. Here you will get to see many species of birds, animals and many types of trees and plants. Every year many tourists arrive here.

Gauhar Mahal
Actually, Gauhar Mahal is basically a haveli built with Hindu and Mughal architecture. It is named after the first woman ruler of Bhopal, Qudsia Begum. She was also known as Gauhar Begum. Gauhar Mahal is situated on the banks of the Upper Lake.

Bhimbetka Caves
To see the Bhimbetka caves, you have to cover a distance of about 24 kilometers from the main city. These caves are located at the foothills of Vindhya Mountains and are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will get to see rock paintings and beautiful carvings at this place, which you can definitely like very much.
