PM Holds High-level Meeting on Jammu And Kashmir

A high-level meeting was held at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were present in this meeting. Before the meeting, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was briefed by the Air Force Chief.

According to sources, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval discussed the future challenges in the defense sector and equipping the forces with modern equipment.

Two days ago, on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, two drone blasts were carried out at the Jammu Air Force Station. The roof of the Air Force station was damaged in this attack and two soldiers were also injured. Two IEDs were dropped inside the airbase through drones. The damage was not much. This was the first attack of its kind. Both the blasts took place between 1.30 pm and 2 pm on Saturday night. The blast happened close to the Indian aircraft. This place is 14 kilometers away from the International Border.

On the night of Sunday-Monday, 2 drones have been seen at Kaluchak Military Station in Jammu itself. The army opened fire to bring them down, but they disappeared in the dark. The military has launched a massive search operation in the entire area. According to DD News, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) appeared on the military base at 11.30 pm and 1.30 am on Sunday. After this the army is on alert.

NIA is investigating the drone attack on Jammu Air Force Station. Now sources have been quoted as saying that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is behind this attack. Sources have said that this attack was done by Lashkar at the behest of ISI. The use of drones made in China has been suspected in the attack. Let us tell you that the attack on the Air Force station was also raised by India in the United Nations.

The aim of the Government of India is that democracy should be started in Jammu and Kashmir, for this elections should be conducted as soon as the delimitation is completed. It is worth noting that recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a meeting with the leaders of Gupkar Dal in Jammu and Kashmir in Delhi. In this meeting, 14 leaders of eight parties attended.
