PM Modi Arrives in US on 3-day Visit

PM Modi is on a three-day visit to America, where he will meet many celebrities. PM Modi left from New Delhi on Wednesday. The PM reached Washington at around 2 pm on Thursday, meanwhile he shared the picture of the plane journey on Twitter. In this photo PM is seen with some files. PM Modi has written, “Long flight also means opportunities to do the work of papers and some file work.”

During the US visit, PM Modi will hold talks with other world leaders including Joe Biden, in this conversation, there will be talk on many fronts from business to fight against Covid and expanding the scope of relations from defense cooperation. PM Modi first met CEOs of top US companies in Washington. He met CEOs of Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Automix. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon expressed his enthusiasm to work with India on 5G, PM Vani and ambitious digital transformation programs. Let us tell you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also had a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. There have been talks between the two countries regarding many issues including corona virus, defence. Along with this, along with promoting economic relations, many topics were discussed to improve personal relations.

After that PM Modi met US Vice President Kamala Harris. This is the first time that an Indian-American Vice-President has welcomed an Indian Prime Minister. During the meeting, the two leaders emphasized on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and discussed issues of mutual and global interest. This is the first meeting between the two leaders.

At the same time, after talks with Vice-President Kamala Harris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga.

PM Modi has told that he will conclude his visit with an address at the United Nations General Assembly. In which he will focus on global challenges including the COVID pandemic, the need to tackle terrorism, climate change and other important issues. Let us tell you that this is his second foreign trip during the Corona period, before that he had visited Bangladesh in March.
