Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the Maitri Setu, a bridge between India and Bangladesh. This program was done through video conferencing due to corona virus. Prime Minister Modi said that during his visit to Bangladesh, I and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina together laid the foundation stone of the bridge connecting Tripura directly with Bangladesh and it has been launched today. With this, Prime Minister Modi also started infrastructural projects in Tripura. During this program, Prime Minister Modi said that connectivity between India and Bangladesh will prove to be very important for the North East region. Apart from this, this important bridge will play an important role for business.
