President Kovind to Visit Ayodhya by train on Aug 29

President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Ayodhya on August 29. In the meantime, he will travel from Lucknow to Ayodhya in special train. This will be the second time that President Ram Nath Kovind will travel by train.

President Ram Nath Kovind will be the first President of the country to visit Ramlala in Ayodhya. The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is progressing at a rapid pace.

President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Ramlala in a temporary tent in Ayodhya before the construction work is completed. According to the information available so far, on August 29, the President will leave Lucknow at around 9 am on special train and reach Ayodhya at 11.30 am after covering a distance of about 135 km.

Apart from visiting Ramlala, President Kovind is also scheduled to visit Hanuman Garhi Temple and Kanak Bhawan to offer prayers.

In addition, a grand welcome to President Ram Nath Kovind is also being planned. The President is likely to be welcomed at Ram Katha Park on behalf of the Sant Samaj of Ayodhya.

President’s most important program will be inspection of the construction work of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. According to the program, the office bearers of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthkshetra Trust will give full information to the President about the construction of the Ram temple. According to the schedule, the President will return to Lucknow the same evening.

President will visit Uttar Pradesh on August 26 to attend several other events. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel are also likely to accompany the President in his visit to Ayodhya.

This will be the second time in the last two months that the President will travel by his special train. Earlier on June 25, Ram Nath Kovind traveled from Delhi to his native village in Kanpur by a special train.
