Quarantine Mandatory for Coming from Kerala to Karnataka

After the decline in corona cases in the country in the past, every state had started easing the corona restrictions. Markets, schools, malls have also started easing travel restrictions, but increasing cases amid the fear of third wave of corona have once again raised the concern of the government and the people.

The main reason for increasing corona is the state of Kerala. Continuing worrying figures are coming from Kerala In the figures of corona patients coming to the country every day, around 50 to 60 percent are from Kerala alone.

With the arrival of 19,622 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday, the total number of corona virus infected in the state increased to 40,27,030, while the death toll reached 20,673 after the death of 132 more patients. In Kerala, the infection rate has gone up to 16.74 percent with 1,17,216 samples being tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours.

So far 3,13,92,529 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in the state. Thrissur has the highest number of 3,177 new patients of Covid-19. After this, 2,315 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in Ernakulam and 1,916 in Kozhikode.

During the last 24 hours in Kerala, 22,563 patients of Covid-19 were also infection free, due to which the number of people who beat the infection of this deadly virus in the state increased to 37,96,317. The number of patients under treatment for Covid-19 in the state has increased to 2,09,493.

In view of this situation, the Karnataka government has taken an important step, now the passengers coming from Kerala will have to stay in the government quarantine period of seven days, after the end of the quarantine, the corona test will be done again and only after the test negative comes home. will be allowed

On this, Kerala Revenue Minister R Ashoka said that this step has been taken after the advice of health advisors.

Let us tell you that the government will take full responsibility of the quarantine period and for this the government has decided to use government hostels to provide accommodation to the travelers of Kerala.  If no government facilities are available, the state will identify budget hotels for quarantine.  Whereas a week-long quarantine will be free in government facilities.  At the same time, payment will have to be made for using private facilities for quarantine.
