Rahul Gandhi canceled election programs in Bengal

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has decided not to participate in the election programs. Rahul Gandhi said that the pace of corona is spreading rapidly in the country. In such a situation, it is not appropriate in public interest to hold a rally and a meeting. He has also appealed to the leaders of all parties not to conduct the election program.

It is worth noting that elections are to be held in Bengal in eight phases. The five-phase election is over. Three phase elections are yet to be held in the state. The sixth phase of voting will take place on 22 April. Earlier, leaders of political parties are busy campaigning continuously. Under the seventh phase, votes will be cast on 36 seats in five districts on 26 April and in the eighth phase on 35 April in four districts on 29 April.
