Due to lack of adequate vaccine in the country, now the Rajasthan government has decided to buy it from abroad. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the globe tender to import the corona vaccine.
Rajasthan government officials are contacting companies of both countries to purchase Pfizer of America and Sputnik vaccine of Russia. Several states, including Uttar Pradesh, have withdrawn global tenders for vaccine imports.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, along with giving suggestions to the central government, also targeted. Gehlot said Due to lack of covid vaccine in the country, many states are taking out global tenders to get vaccines from other countries. It would have been better if the central government had taken out the global tender and bought the vaccine and distributed it to the states. Later, it would be taken from the state governments.
