Rajnath Singh Launches SeHAT-OPD Portal To Help Forces In Providing Tele-medicine Services

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday launched the ‘Services e-Health Assistance and Tele-Consultation (Health) OPD portal’. The portal was launched by the Defense Minister through video conferencing from Delhi. On this occasion, Rajnath Singh said that the second wave of Corona is more dangerous, but the services of the Ministry of Defense are also important in this battle. The way DRDO has made its contribution during this period is truly commendable.

Defence Minister said, “This online medium of medicine, not only ensures widespread access to remote areas, but also contactless, and secure access. This will reduce the load on the hospitals on the one hand, and on the other hand, the patients will also be able to get consultation more easily.

He said DRDO has set up Covid hospitals and oxygen production plants in Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi and many other parts of the country. Which has helped a lot in the war against Corona.

Rajnath Singh said after the portal launch that DRDO has produced the essential drug 2-DG with the help of Hyderabad-based Dr. Reddy’s Lab. Its positive results are coming. People are expressing confidence in this and wanting this medicine. Its 10,000 pouches have come on the market.
