Sanjeevani Project Started For Covid Patients In Haryana

Sanjeevani Project has been started for Covid patients in Haryana. Chief Minister Manohar Lal started the project with video conferencing. In the project, patients with mild to moderate symptoms of Covid-19 will be taken care of at their home immediately. This will not make them leave the house for treatment and neither have to go to the hospital.

The ‘Sanjeevani Project’ will expand medical care in rural areas where there is little awareness about the spread of the second wave of the virus and the cure for the disease. The availability of beds in hospitals will provide an integrated command and control center for the management of vital resources such as oxygen supply, ambulance tracking and door-to-door awareness campaigns.

In addition to medical interns, 200 medical final year and pre-final year students will be mobilized and distributed to counselors and home care kits, including a mask, an oximeter, a thermometer and basic medicines. Additional ambulances will be procured and mobile pharmacies will be developed.
