At the same time, during the hearing in the Supreme Court today regarding the board examinations, the Supreme Court ordered all the state boards to declare the results before July 31.
The Supreme Court today said that the state boards need to prepare an internal assessment plan for class 12 examinations and declare the results based on the evaluation by July 31. Along with this, the top court said that the internal assessment should be prepared within 10 days.
Significantly, earlier this month, the Supreme Court had given two weeks to the CBSE and CISCE boards to prepare alternative evaluation criteria for evaluation of students. Both the boards had last week informed the Supreme Court about the evaluation criteria, which was approved by the apex court and termed “fair and fair”.
