A hearing was held again in the Supreme Court on Friday on lack of oxygen in Delhi. The court has sternly told the Center that Delhi will have to deliver 700 tonnes of oxygen every day till further orders. The Center was also warned that if this has not happened, an order will be issued against the officials concerned.
The Supreme Court said that when we are saying 700 million tonnes, only oxygen please. Do not force us to take strict steps.
The Supreme Court on Friday also said that an expert panel has been formed for the audit of oxygen, so that the need of every state will be known. During the same test, Delhi Government lawyer Rahul Mehra said that till 9 am today, Delhi had received 89 tonnes of oxygen and 16 million tonnes was in transportation.
