Security forces killed 3 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian encounter

Three militants were killed in Saturday’s encounter between security forces and militants in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Police and security forces cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation after the terrorists were reported to be hiding in Hadipora. During this, the terrorists started firing. In retaliation, 3 militants were killed by security forces. According to the police, 11 terrorists have been piled into the Valley in the past day. A search operation is currently being conducted in the area. Earlier in the Shopian district, on Friday, security forces killed 5 terrorists hiding in the mosque. The terrorists were first asked to surrender. To convince them, the Imam and the brother of a terrorist were sent inside the mosque, but the terrorists were not considered. After several hours of effort, the security forces killed 5 terrorists.
