The SIT has issued a notice on the statement of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath in the Honey Trap case. Along with this, the SIT has also demanded a pen drive, which Kamal Nath mentioned in an online press meet on 21 May 2021. Actually, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath had said that he has the original pen drive of Honey Trap. He said that if political revenge action was taken in the case of Congress MLA Umang Singhar, then the Congress would not remain silent.

The case of Honey Trap is of 2019 when some women surrounded some politicians and officers in the state and made CDs and extorted money from them.
