The Telangana government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on extended the lockdown in the state for ten more days till June 19.This decision has been taken keeping in mind the increasing number of corona infected. In some districts of the state, restrictions will be implemented from June 10. Apart from this, some relaxation has also been given in the time of lockdown.
The Telangana government has decided to extend the restrictions keeping in mind the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in some districts. These districts include Miryalaguda, Munugod, Nalgonda, Satthupally, Deverakonda, Nagarjuna Sagar and Madhira. the Telangana cabinet said that the spread of Covid-19 in the above areas is out of control and hence it has been decided that the lockdown will be extended.
The Covid-19 lockdown in Telangana has been extended till June 19. The timing has also been changed to give some relaxation to the people. The state cabinet said during the meeting that the Covid-19 restrictions in Telangana will be relaxed every day between 6 am and 5 pm. Earlier, the relaxation time was between 6 am to 1 pm. the state government has extended the relaxation time by four more hours in its new instructions.
The state government has also allowed an additional grace period of one hour for people to reach home from their offices after the lockdown is implemented. Now people will be allowed to reach home from their office till 6 pm. The state government said, “Shops and business establishments will remain closed till 5 pm and the remaining one-hour relaxation period is to ensure that people reach their homes by 6 pm.”
There are currently more than 24,000 active patients of Covid-19 in Telangana. The cabinet has also decided to issue ration cards immediately to 4.50 lakh eligible people who have applied
