The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has officially launched the much-awaited “Workation Paradise Throughout Thailand Season 2” project, blending work and travel seamlessly with innovative Pop-up Workspaces and the enticing “100-Baht Voucher” promotion. The program runs from December 2024 to March 2025, aiming to position Thailand as a global hub for Digital Nomads and Remote Workers.
Redefining Work and Travel
TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool emphasized the growing trend of workations driven by flexible working models. She stated, “This project caters to professionals who want to combine work and travel while boosting weekday tourism. It highlights Thailand’s potential as a leading workation destination, driving economic activity and tourism revenue.”
Supporting this vision, Mr. Kittipong Prapattong, Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research, and Development, noted that the project promotes extended stays, higher spending, and significant benefits for local economies.
What’s New in Season 2?
Building on the success of the Workation Thailand campaign since 2020, this season introduces cutting-edge Pop-up Workspaces and exclusive vouchers for premium travel experiences.
Pop-up Workspaces
Five regions will feature fully equipped portable offices:
- Bangkok: Siam
- Chon Buri: Central Pattaya
- Nakhon Ratchasima: Khao Yai National Park
- Chiang Mai: Ang Kaew at Chiang Mai University
- Surat Thani: Ko Pha-ngan
These workspaces offer high-speed internet, ergonomic setups, and on-site assistance, creating the ideal environment for productivity while exploring Thailand’s breathtaking destinations.
100-Baht Voucher Promotion
Travellers can access heavily discounted premium services, including:
- Flights: AirAsia
- Luxury Stays: Sala Khao Yai, Banyan Tree Phuket, Pullman Khao Lak Resort
- Dining: Coffee Bean by Dao, Black Canyon, Starbucks

Vouchers are available for only 100 Baht through the campaign’s website, released on the 20th of each month. Exclusive pre-sale rounds will be offered on 1 February and 1 March 2025 for workspace users.
