This 20-year-old rapper rose to fame through her performance at Coachella, an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Milli subsequently became the first solo Thai artist to do so.
She dominated this year’s headlines in April when her scream, “Who wants mango and rice that is sticky?” drastically increased the sale of mango-sticky rice, a traditional Southeast Asian dessert. The Thai government also contemplated recommending the dish to the UNESCO heritage list.
During her school days, Milli was a student council member; the rapper rose to fame when she joined Rapper 2, a popular Thai TV program. Though she did not win the contest, she garnered loads of attention and praise from judges and people alike. Later, the Thai rapping sensation gained national attention with her debut single, “Phak Kon”.
Her career has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride. This incredibly talented rap star got her taste of controversy for her bold lyrics and her larger-than-life image. At such a young age, she has seen the necessary ups and downs that make a star a legend.
