UAE Temporarily Suspends Visa-on-Arrival Facility for Indians

The “Visa-on-Arrival” facility for passengers traveling from India to UAE has been temporarily suspended. Also, those people who are in India for the last two weeks will also not be able to use it.

The rule applied to other countries also

He said that the same rule has also been applied for passengers coming from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Namibia. At the same time, passengers traveling to the UAE will have to show a COVID-19 negative RT-PCR report and must be six hours old before boarding the plane.

At the same time, “Indian nationals holding regular passports with a US visa, green card, UK resident permit, or EU (European Union) resident permit will be allowed to obtain an entry visa into the UAE valid for 14 days. Indian passport, US Visa, Green Card, UK Resident Permit and EU Resident Permit must be valid for at least six months.

According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, 39 thousand 486 people have been cured in the last 24 hours in the country.
