Vijit Chao Phraya 2024: A Month-Long Riverfront Spectacle Illuminates Bangkok

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and esteemed partners, is thrilled to present Vijit Chao Phraya 2024, an extraordinary light and cultural extravaganza along the Chao Phraya River. Running from 16 November to 15 December, this event will transform Bangkok’s riverfront each evening, bringing vibrant light displays, laser shows, projection mapping, Thai cultural performances, and fireworks to seven iconic landmarks across 14 strategic locations as part of Thailand’s “Winter Festivals.”

Key Highlights Include:

  • Rama VIII Bridge: Laser artistry synchronized with music, with six daily shows.
  • Royal Navy Institute: Spectacular laser and sound performances, six daily shows.
  • Wat Arun: Drone-enhanced light displays celebrating the temple’s heritage on selected dates.
  • Wat Kalayanamitr: Laser shows, cultural performances, and fireworks, with two daily shows on select dates.
  • Sunanthalai Building (Rajini School): Projection mapping with sound, running six shows daily.
  • Memorial Bridge (Phra Phuttha Yodfa): Light and laser displays with fireworks on select dates.
  • Soi Lhong 1919 Abandoned Building: Mesmerizing light and sound spectacle, six daily shows.
