WHO Classifies Thai Vaccine Administrative Quality as High

The World Health Organization (WHO) has ranked the Kingdom of Thailand’s vaccine regulatory structure as at level 3 which is its second highest classification, as the country’s vaccination environment has made greatly swift achievements.

The WHO issued ranking is a magnificent accomplishment since the Kingdom had nearly no experience in terms of producing vaccines prior to the Covid-19 pandemic and it merely mounte production of the AstraZeneca vaccine within just months qualifying on all quality tests from the British manufacturer and global healthauthorities.

The WHO’s highest grade, Level 4, is particularly set aside for nations with an modernized vaccine regulatory system and proof of significant improvement as reaching that ranking essentializes time and experience.

Meanwhile, Level 3 ranked countries should have a steady and working regulator system for vaccine production, as the WHO team utilized the UN agency’s Global Benchmarking Tool (GBT) to evaluate the quality, safety and efficacy of vaccines produced in Thailand and other countries to reach the ranking.
